Blandine de Rouffignac promoted Director of Research & Development

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Blandine de Rouffignac as Director of Research & Development at Château Margaux, effective this March.

This promotion reflects the estate’s commitment to strengthening its focus on research and development, a cornerstone of viticultural excellence and innovation.

An agricultural engineer specializing in viticulture and oenology, and a PhD graduate in oenology, Blandine has been contributing her scientific expertise to Château Margaux since 2018. She now leads the estate’s innovation strategy from vineyard to cellar, guiding its adaptation to climate change, the evolution of oenological practices, and the preservation of Château Margaux’s unique expression of terroir in every vintage.
