Fermentation in oak barrels.
Ageing: 18 to 24 months in new oak barrels.
Fining: with egg-white.

White wines
Fermentation in oak barrels.
Ageing: 6 to 8 months in oak barrels.

 

Average annual production

Château Margaux: 120 000 bottles (average production).
Pavillon Rouge du Château Margaux: about 100 000 bottles.
Margaux du Château Margaux: about 60 000 bottles.
Pavillon Blanc du Château Margaux: about 10 000 bottles.

Pavillon Blanc Second Vin: about 8 000 bottles.

 

* Since the 2009 vintage, we have been producing a fourth wine which is not bottled but sold in bulk to a few Bordeaux wine merchants.
